  • Do I have to be an Accounting major to be a part of this club?

    Not at all! The Accounting Students’ Association welcomes people studying any and all degrees and majors. Regardless of what you may be studying, our events can provide value to you and your future both by connecting you to employers and providing professional growth opportunities.

    Believe it or not, we have committee members majoring in Economics, Marketing, Management and one even completing a Bachelor of Science!

  • Is there any point coming to ASA's events as a first year?

    Definitely. Here at ASA we provide learning and career opportunities for you. So if that means tips and tricks for upcoming Assessment Centres, or simply learning more about what first-year programs there may be, we’ve got something for you.

  • How can you help me find a job?

    While we can’t promise a job after attending our events, we can promise that you’ll put yourself one step closer to moving the direction you hope to. From connecting you with industry professionals to providing interview practice, these necessary skills are the small things that can make the biggest differences in the long run.

    At ASA, we care about our people. We look to give them every opportunity possible to feel comfortable and included in this busy Commerce world. By providing an extra set of hands to guide you through a stressful time, our committee and events will be sure to help you excel.
